Bhutan's mountain-made textiles meet the runway

 

Fashion for Fragile Ecosystems connects traditional craftsmanship with ethical fashion, promoting cultural heritage globally while protecting mountain environments and improving livelihoods. Led by the Mountain Partnership of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, this initiative brings together women artisans from remote mountain regions with international designers to create collections inspired by local traditions and ancient techniques.
