The Centro Bartolomé de las Casas (CBC) is a non-governmental organization working in the Southern Peruvian Andes and Amazon that was founded in 1974. The work of the CBC prioritizes local knowledge and experiences and promotes their dissemination and systematization. It promotes inter- and multicultural dialogues and is committed to defending the rights of rural and indigenous populations. The CBC supports communities through organizational strengthening and promoting their active role in territorial decision-making, as well as by strengthening institutional alliances to contribute to territorial governance.
