Call for proposals 2026 - Kyrgyzstan

The Business Incubator and Accelerator programme in Kyrgyzstan strengthens the resilience and self-reliance of mountain communities by supporting grassroots entrepreneurship in agriculture, agrifood processing, natural fibres, natural resource-based value chains, agritourism and improved water-based production systems. The programme also promotes financial inclusion by helping organizations develop financial management skills, improve record-keeping practices, access formal financial services and prepare for future engagement with credit institutions.

Priority geographical areas include the Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Talas, Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad and Chui oblasts. The programme will also remain open to eligible mountain-based initiatives operating elsewhere in Kyrgyzstan, provided they meet the eligibility requirements.

Programme timeline

The BIA Programme in Kyrgyzstan will be implemented over 12 months. The Applicant Information Booklet contains further details about the programme and how to participate.

To support interested applicants throughout the application process, the Mountain Partnership Secretariat will organize one briefing webinar and three additional Q&A information sessions. All sessions will be conducted in Kyrgyz.
