La dernière mise à jour partielle du Cadre intégré de classification de la sécurité alimentaire (IPC), publiée aujourd’hui, brosse un tableau sombre pour les gouvernorats du Sud. Entre mai 2025 et août 2025, environ 4,95 millions de personnes seront confrontées à une insécurité alimentaire de niveau «crise» ou pire (phase 3+ de l’IPC), dont 1,5 million en situation d’urgence (phase 4 de l’IPC). Cela représente une augmentation de 370 000 personnes souffrant d’insécurité alimentaire sévère par rapport à la période allant de novembre 2024 à février 2025.
