C’est en collaboration avec le Programme des Nations Unies pour l’environnement (PNUE) et la Ligue des États arabes (LEA), que l’Organisation des Nations Unies pour l’alimentation et l’agriculture (FAO) a organisé la cinquième Journée internationale de sensibilisation aux pertes et gaspillages alimentaires, et ce au Caire, en Égypte. Tenu en format hybride, l’événement a rassemblé des parties prenantes de toute la région pour faire la lumière sur les efforts en cours de lutte contre les pertes et gaspillages alimentaires (PGA), avec un focus sur la nécessité d’investir davantage pour les faire progresser.
