The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) placed food security, livelihoods and sustainable agrifood systems at the forefront of the global artificial intelligence (AI) for sustainable development agenda, calling for an inclusive, responsible and development-oriented digital transformation, during the high-level week of meetings and discussions held in Geneva from 6-10 July: the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) Forum, the AI for Good Global Summit and the first ever Global Dialogue on AI Governance.
