From 26 to 29 June 2018 the 7th Capitalization meeting of the EU Land Governance Programme will take place at FAO Headquarters in Rome.

The meetings are organized to assess progress in the implementation of the projects of the EU Land Governance Programme across 18 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America and the Transversal Project “Support to and capitalization on the EU Land Governance Programme”. The meeting provides a platform to share experiences and lessons learned, document success stories and best practices and for networking and exchange between the country-level project implementers.

The bi-annual meetings that are part of the transversal project have been held in Addis Ababa since 2014. This year the meeting is being held in Rome.

Participation in capitalization meetings is recommended for the in-country implementation teams of country-level projects under the EU Land Governance Programme.
