Follow the Launch of the Global Action Programme (GAP) on Food Security and Nutrition in Small Island Developing States.
High-level speakers will set the scene to explain how the GAP serves as a new country-driven framework to help SIDS face their unique and complex set of food security and nutrition challenges.

The segment will be moderated by Maria Helena Semedo, Deputy Director-General, Climate and Natural Resources, FAO, with a special ceremony to mark the occasion.
A dialogue with over 30 Ministers from SIDS and the international community will follow, focusing on questions on "Filling the GAP". The session will be moderated by Árni M. Mathiesen, Assistant Director-General, Fisheries and Aquaculture Department, FAO.
The event will have simultaneous interpretation in English, French and Spanish.
