Closing Ceremony International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development 2022 - Mountains Matter: for people and the planet

A global high-level Closing ceremony is planned to take place in hybrid modality, to conclude the celebrations of the International Year of Sustainable Mountain Development 2022. It aims to look ahead and engage United Nations agencies and other relevant partners to define a joint roadmap for the protection of vulnerable mountain ecosystems while building the resilience of mountain peoples, within the framework of the Mountain Partnership and under the leadership of FAO in its capacity as lead agency for mountains within the United Nations system.
