| |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
About the event: Sweden and Belgium are global leaders on the aid effectiveness agenda and remarkable partners of FAO. As firm supporters of flexible funding and multilateralism, FAO’s partnership with the two countries is an exceptional example of how we can efficiently work together to support the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals at the national, regional and global levels. By supporting FAO’s work across all its Strategic Programmes, including through FAO’s Regular Programme budget, the Multipartner Programme Support Mechanism (FMM), the Special Fund for Emergency Activities (SFERA) and other relevant facilities and networks, Belgium and Sweden are crucial contributors to FAO’s mission to reduce poverty and end hunger and malnutrition all over the world. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||
