Regional workshop on sharing national priorities for addressing illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing in the Bay of Bengal and Gulf of Thailand

The regional workshop will provide an opportunity for countries to share their priorities in combating IUU fishing as well as lessons and good practices. The regional workshop is being organized to: (1) Identify and discuss the constraints for combatting IUU fishing; (2) Brainstorm on how the constraints and barriers could be addressed; (3) Identify and brainstorm on the information that could be shared and the mechanism for sharing such information in combatting IUU fishing.
