As per the Asia-Pacific Fishery Commission (APFIC) Agreement under Article XIV, the 36th Session of APFIC will be convened virtually from 5 to 7 May 2021. The Session shall be attended by APFIC member countries and FAO partner organizations. The Secretary of APFIC shall serve as ex officio member.

The Session will report to the members on the APFIC secretariat’s work, current issues facing fisheries and aquaculture in the region. The Session will also discuss on the budget, administrative issues and future of the Commission.
