New version of the Ex-Ante Carbon Balance Tool - Version 5 released
The FAO EX-Ante Carbon balance Tool (EX-ACT) is an appraisal system providing ex-ante estimates of the impact of agriculture and forestry development projects, programmes and policies on the carbon-balance.

EX-ACT allows decision makers to compare the GHG impact of alternative development scenarios and assists policy analysts to develop Marginal Abatement Cost Curves (MACCs) of alternative mitigation actions.

EX-ACT 5 now provides users with a new, more intuitive interface and tool structure and comes in the two editions "Standard" and “Tier One".

See the EX-ACT website for more information: www.fao.org/tc/exact
