30 October 2015, Rome--- This special four part miniseries takes a closer look at issues around agriculture and sustainability. Why food issues are at the centre of development in the next 15 years and what needs to happen to eradicate hunger while preserving the world's resources for the next generation and beyond? Along the way, a light will be shined on the diverse challenges that farmers around the world face in producing healthy, affordable food for a growing world population and the role of youth and innovation in building the agriculture of the future.

Episode 1 - Shifts, Sustainability and Interconnectedness: This episode focused on the new Sustainable Development Goals adopted by the UN in September, which are replacing the Millennium Development Goals that have come to an end this year.

Episode 2 - The role of social protection in ending rural poverty: This episode looked at the role that social assistance programs play in reducing poverty and vulnerability in rural areas and in increasing agricultural productivity to create virtuous cycles of prosperity.

Episode 3 - Voices of the Zero Hunger Generation: This episode focused on the role of youth in building the agriculture and food systems of the future. Why is involving youth in agriculture so important now and what support do the need to help make ours the Zero Hunger Generation?

Episode 4 - Sustainability, Agriculture and Climate Change : A look ahead to the climate talks at COP21 in Paris. The final episode in this special miniseries on agriculture and sustainability looks at where agriculture fits in to conversations around climate change, some of the key challenges that climate change is posing for food production, and what is at stake at the upcoming Paris climate conference. (Release date mid-November)
