Changing Landscapes of the Mediterranean
In the run up to the first International Day of Forests on the 21st March 2013, the countries of the Mediterranean are meeting to discuss the state of Mediterranean forests and what can be done to safeguard them. In a region being heavily hit by climate change and experiencing population growth that's putting pressure on precious food and water resources, the need to ensure the future of these forests and the services they provide is more urgent than ever.
