Artículo 12.º: (Relaciones internacionales) 1: "La República de Angola respeta y aplica los principios de la Carta de las Organizaciones de las Naciones Unidas y de la Carta de la Unión Africana y establece relaciones de amistad y cooperación con todos los Estados y pueblos, sobre la base de los siguientes principios: a) Respeto por la soberanía e independencia nacional; b) Igualdad entre los Estados; c) Derecho de los pueblos a la autodeterminación e independencia; d) Solución pacífica de los conflictos; e) Respeto por los derechos humanos; f) No injerencia en los asuntos internos de los otros Estados; g) Reciprocidad; h) Repudio y combate al terrorismo, narcotráfico, racismo, corrupción y tráfico de seres y órganos humanos; i) Cooperación con todos los pueblos para la paz, justicia y progreso de la humanidad." 

Artículo 13.1: "El derecho internacional general o común, adoptado en los términos de la presente Constitución, es parte integrante del ordenamiento jurídico angoleño."

e) Todos los ciudadanos gozarán de los beneficios resultantes del esfuerzo colectivo de desarrollo, principalmente en la mejora cuantitativa y cualitativa de su nivel de vida."
