FAO AGRIS continues to expand its global network of knowledge partners with the inclusion of three new data providers from Uganda, Ukraine and Azerbaijan. Their participation strengthens the diversity of the database and enhances access to research across regions, disciplines and languages.
By contributing metadata to FAO AGRIS, these institutions support a shared effort to make agricultural and related research more visible, accessible and reusable worldwide.
Bugema University is a private, co-educational institution and part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system. Through its academic and research activities, the university contributes to the development of knowledge in areas relevant to agriculture, education and community development. Its inclusion in FAO AGRIS helps amplify research from East Africa and supports broader visibility of locally generated knowledge.
The National Scientific Centre, Institute for Soil Science and Agrochemistry Research named after O.N. Sokolovsky is a leading institution dedicated to the sustainable management of soil resources in Ukraine. Its work focuses on soil fertility restoration, soil health preservation and the protection of ecological and productive soil functions.
As a central scientific and methodological body, the Institute coordinates research across more than 20 institutions, contributing to national efforts in soil science, agrochemistry and environmental protection. Its participation in FAO AGRIS brings valuable expertise in soil research to the global knowledge community.
Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC)
The Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication is a public policy think tank under the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Center conducts analytical research on economic reforms, development strategies and governance, supporting evidence-based policymaking.
Through its peer-reviewed journal Economic Reforms, CAERC contributes to the dissemination of research on economic policy and structural transformation. Its inclusion in FAO AGRIS broadens the platform’s coverage of agrifood systems by integrating economic and policy perspectives.
FAO AGRIS invites institutions around the world to become part of this global initiative. By contributing metadata, data providers enhance the visibility of their research and support a more accessible and interconnected agricultural knowledge ecosystem.
