FAO in Angola
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) has been a key partner in Angola's journey toward sustainable development. Angola's vast natural resources and untapped agricultural potential present an opportunity for the nation to emerge as a self-sufficient food producer and a significant contributor to food security across Africa. FAO provided crucial emergency assistance, including food aid, agricultural inputs, and support for displaced communities. By aligning with Angola’s development priorities, FAO continues to play a pivotal role in fostering agricultural growth, creating economic opportunities, and supporting the country’s vision of a sustainable and food-secure future.
