What we do

FAO works with countries and with farmers, fishers, foresters, and other agrifood workers to address the impacts of climate change on agrifood systems while advancing practical, evidence-based solutions that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and strengthen resilience by translating global climate commitments into action on the ground.   

By bringing together policy advice, hands-on technical support, and access to finance, FAO leverages complementary expertise to scale impact, ensure country-driven solutions, and deliver results on the ground.
