Since becoming a member of FAO in 1991, Ethiopia has benefited from numerous targeted programs and projects focused on agricultural and rural development. Key areas of focus include ecosystem restoration, climate change adaptation, and mitigation in agriculture, fisheries and forestry, fostering synergies and balancing trade-offs to build resilient and productive landscapes.
