This evaluation assessed the relevance, efficiency and effectiveness of FAO’s knowledge products and services, including quality assurance and dissemination processes. Data for the evaluation were collected from over 3500 stakeholders, users and staff and from over 1200 documents, networks and databases and 50 other evaluations.
Evaluation of FAO’s contribution in Burkina Faso

This evaluation examined the contribution and strategic positioning of FAO in Burkina Faso over the period 2010-2014. It found that FAO in Burkina Faso has helped strengthen the resilience of vulnerable households, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, climate change adaptation, water management, seed and non-wood forestry production, and food security policy development.
Evaluation of FAO’s Contribution to Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigation

Climate change poses some of the most serious risks to agricultural production, food security, and the state of the world’s forests, fish stocks and water supply. Smallholder producers and the poor in the developing world are particularly vulnerable to the effects of more frequent and intense weather and climate events, thus complicating global efforts to promote long-term development through food security and poverty reduction.
