لجنة التنسيق للدستور الغذائي في آسيا - المنسق الإقليمي االصين
تأسست لجنة التنسيق لهيئة الدستور الغذائي في آسيا في الاجتماع الحادي عشر لهيئة الدستور الغذائي الذي عقد في روما، إيطاليا، في تموز/ يوليو 1976. وتم عقد اجتماعها الأول في نيودلهي (الهند) في كانون الثاني/ يناير 1977.
ويعمل المنسق الإقليمي من داخل المركز الوطني الصيني لتقييم مخاطر سلامة الأغذية.
وتشمل الأولويات الرئيسية للصين كمنسق تعزيز المشاركة في اجتماعات هيئة الدستور الغذائي، ودعم تحديد أولويات عمل الهيئة في المنطقة، وتحسين تنسيق مواصفات سلامة الأغذية وتسريع تنشيط لجنة التنسيق من خلال تبادل المعلومات وتقديم تحديثات منتظمة حول قضايا سلامة الأغذية ضمن المنطقة.
كما ترغب الصين أيضا في تعزيز التعاون مع منظمات المراقبة وتحسين التواصل الكفوء والفعال بين الأعضاء الإقليميين ومنظمة الأغذية والزراعة ومنظمة الصحة العالمية وأمانة هيئة الدستور الغذائي.

Spectacular show in Hong Kong celebrates Codex 60th anniversary
In a burst of colour and sound, taste and vision, the Centre for Food Safety, Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, Hong Kong SAR, China put on a show of local culture and entertainment on Monday 27 March, 2023 for delegates attending the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA).

FAO announces new brochure and strategic priorities on food safety at CCFA
FAO has now issued a brochure that describes its work on food safety. Safe food for everyone – FAO’s work on food safety: science, standards and good practices is available in two formats (pdf and digital) and six languages (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish).

Food additives Committee plays key role in enhancing trust in food safety work
Mr. LEI Haichao, Vice Minister of the National Health Commission of the People’s Republic of China, opened the 53rd session of the Codex Committee on Food Additives (CCFA), taking place from 27-31 March 2023, in China Hong Kong SAR. CCFA53 / pre-session working groups pave the way for a smooth meeting
The Codex Committee on Food Additives is renown for its physical working groups that lead up to the full plenary which beings on Monday 27 March, 2023. These groups carry out the groundwork for the topics the full committee will then need to focus on. Mock Codex sessions aid training for Timor Leste Codex Trust Fund project
In Timor Leste a four-day mock Codex committee session has taken place this week as part of training to help the country’s Codex representatives understand how Codex works and how to participate effectively in Codex sessions. The training is supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) as part of the Timor Leste Codex Trust Fund (CTF) project. Timor Leste is the newest Member of the Codex Alimentarius Commission.

ACT project launched in Nepal, 50 stakeholders agree on AMR priorities
As part of the “Action to support implementation of Codex AMR Texts (ACT)” project, FAO Nepal organized a one-day workshop on the implementation of Codex standards for foodborne antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on 5 December 2022. 50 participants from the government, various ministries, academia, and private sector (feed production, aquaculture, livestock production, food safety, laboratory testing) joined the event.

Discussions, speeches and a quiz all contribute to World Food Safety Day events at Abbott Nutrition, India
At the pharmaceuticals company, Abbott Nutrition India, staff and employees celebrated World Food Safety Day this year, with a number of different activities. Over 250 team members took part in food safety discussions and listened to key messages from site leaders and messages about World Food Safety Day on the year’s theme, Safer Food, Better Health.
Key staff contributors to food safety were recognized by management and a company-wide quiz saw prizes handed out to winners.

ACT project / Pakistan brings together 50 experts to discuss progress on AMR
As part of the “Action to support implementation of Codex AMR Texts (ACT)” project, FAO Pakistan organized a national workshop on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) on 24-26 October 2022 in Islamabad, Pakistan. The Lao People's Democratic Republic celebrates World Food Safety Day with New Zealand-backed project
For World Food Safety Day 2022, the Mekong Institute (MI) joined stakeholders of the national food control system in the Lao People's Democratic Republic to commemorate the importance of food safety for public and economic health. In a forum aimed at strengthening multi-agency and multi-stakeholder collaboration, participants also sought to ensure enhanced awareness among consumers of the importance of safer food.
