Offices of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) in Pakistan, in collaboration with government of Pakistan, are celebrating World Food Safety Day on 7 June 2022.

A technical discussion has been organized with national and provincial stakeholders to share information about the food safety work being done in the country, and to discuss gaps and opportunities in a preview of the National Food Safety / Food Control System Assessment that has been conducted. This will help in building a strong Food Safety system at the national level.
