The activity invited participants to test their knowledge on sustainable agrifood systems, nutrition, and global agrifood challenges, with the chance to win prizes.

The FAO Liaison Office in Geneva (LOG) actively participated in and contributed to multiple sessions during the 60th session of the Human Rights Council (HRC 60), held in Geneva from 8 September to 8 October 2025. Convened three times annually, the Human Rights Council serves as a global platform for advancing and safeguarding human rights. In line with its mandate, FAO closely monitored discussions related to agrifood systems ensuring that no one is left behind.

The FAO Liaison Office with the United Nations in Geneva, together with the WFP Global Office in Geneva, and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), convened a joint informal briefing on “When Climate Extremes Drive Hunger: Humanitarian Challenges and Collaborative Solutions.”
