The FAO AdriaMed Programme is a longstanding partnership between FAO and Italy, through its Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests.

Main partners include national governments through fisheries and environmental management ministries and research institutions, non governmental organizations, fishers, aquaculture farmers of the 6 countries facing the Adriatic Sea, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia.
