The Government of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), urged all stakeholders to take collective action to curb the spread of Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD), which continues to pose a significant threat to the national livestock sector. This call to action was highlighted at the Media Briefing, ‘National FMD Control Strategy: Revitalizing Livestock to Safeguard Food Security,’ held in Jakarta (26/8).
