DescriptionAt the request of Malaysia, the World Trade Organization (WTO) circulated the panel report concerning certain European Union (EU) measures on palm oil-based biofuel. Among the major findings, the report indicated that while the EUs measures on the high indirect land use change (ILUC) risk cap and phase-out are valid, the deficiencies in the design and implementation resulted in arbitrary or unjustifiable discrimination between countries.
