AbstractThis third staple food policy review indicates the main policy changes that took place in 2003 and 2004 in the areas of production, consumption, marketing and trade of grains, oilseeds and oil. breeding. The data come from questionnaires and from official and unofficial sources. The main aim of this issue, like previous issues, is to succinctly describe the most important policy measures taken by governments during the period under review rather than to infer the consequences for the market. This publication is therefore a reference text for consultation and historical reminder.
