Through training, knowledge exchange and participatory approaches, it seeks to strengthen transparency and support the realization of the right to adequate food, underpinning nutrition and human dignity.

Main activities

By developing harmonized methodologies and strengthening national monitoring and reporting systems, the FARE project supports countries in improving transparency and accountability around the right to food. It works closely with national stakeholders to enhance their capacity to track progress, assess gaps and align policies with right to food obligations.

At the same time, the project promotes capacity development and awareness through targeted training, community-based advocacy initiatives and the creation of repositories on legislation and policies. These efforts are complemented by the organization of cross-country workshops and knowledge exchange platforms, with the aim of facilitating mutual learning, sharing experiences and good practices, and strengthening collaboration among implementing countries.
