Self-evaluation and Holistic Assessment of Climate Resilience of Farmers and Pastoralist (SHARP+)

Farm inputs and productive assets

This module examines the production assets used by households as well as the availability, accessibility and quality of inputs used for their agricultural activities.

Contribution to resilience

Access to quality assets, equipment and inputs from diverse sources strengthens the resilience of farming households by supporting the productivity, autonomy, and sustainability of production systems. Reliable availability of suitable seeds, agricultural tools, organic fertilizers, and mechanization services helps maintain operations even during times of stress. Diversity of sources reduces the risk of supply disruptions and allows producers to better adapt to changes in the economic and environmental context.
