This module collects detailed information on household composition and socio-demographic characteristics.
Contribution to resilience
The data is used to assess the household's human capital. Human capital strengthens the resilience of farm households by improving their knowledge, adaptability and access to information. A household with technical skills, good health and a certain level of education is better prepared to anticipate, overcome and adapt to shocks, while diversifying its sources of income and livelihoods. By fostering better resource management and more effective collective decision-making, human capital reduces households' vulnerability to hazards.
