Self-evaluation and Holistic Assessment of Climate Resilience of Farmers and Pastoralist (SHARP+)

Information and communication technologies

This module explores farm households' access to and use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), such as smartphones, tablets, computers and radios.

Contribution to resilience

The use of these tools enables farmers to receive real-time information on weather conditions, product prices and good farming practices, thus facilitating decision-making. This improves their ability to adapt to climate change, optimize resource management and better connect to markets, helping to strengthen their resilience in the face of economic and environmental challenges.
