Background of the Direction Board
The Direction is responsible for the overall functioning of the Task Force, coordinating all the committees and activities. The Direction consists of these positions:

  • MYTF Coordinator
  • MYTF Deputy Coordinator
  • Communications Coordinator
  • Partnerships Coordinator
  • Events Coordinator
  • Financial Coordinator
  • Scientific Coordinator

Every member of the Direction should have good communication, organisational, leadership and teamwork skills. The Direction shall receive consultancy support and guidance from Silva Mediterranea and EFIMED experts when needed.  Read the details here.

  • Duties and responsibilities of the Direction Board
  • Lead the development of a strategic vision
  • Hold the overall responsibility for the Task Force
  • Ensure regular meetings and further communication within the Task Force
  • Ensure fluent and vital communication with FAO / Silva Mediterranea under which the MYTF is formed
  • Ensure that minutes are written down and shared from each meeting
  • Keep the records of the financial flows
  • Keep the main databases and documents in order
  • Organise the General Assemblies where the elections take place annually
  • Ensure that the Annual Reports are compiled in a timely manner
