There is more than one way to support TeleFood. You can promote activities in your own country, you can sponsor a TeleFood awareness-raising event or you can contribute money to the small-scale projects.
Promoting activities
The World Food Day and TeleFood campaign consists of hundreds of activities and events organized locally in countries all over the world. Activities can be sporting or cultural events, charity dinners or auctions, television or radio shows. Usually, well-known national artists, personalities or technical experts support and participate in the events.
You can help to promote such activities and events. To find out more on how to become an active supporter of TeleFood, please contact the FAO Representative in your country. If there is no FAO office, please contact the TeleFood Executive Coordinator.
Contributing money to projects
Another way of supporting TeleFood is to contribute directly to the small-scale TeleFood projects around the world. From anywhere in the world, you can send a cheque or bank draft, in any freely convertible currency, payable to "FAO - TeleFood", to the following address:

You can also support TeleFood by making contributions to FAO/TeleFood national bank accounts in many countries.
Since TeleFood activities started in 1997, approximately US$8 million have been raised for TeleFood projects. No money has been diverted for administrative costs.
Sponsoring activities
It is also possible to become a sponsor. You can contribute in cash or in kind to the production of an event dedicated to TeleFood.
