Cameroon meets MDG - 1 goal

Based on FAO’s most recent estimates, the prevalence of undernourishment in Cameroon has dropped from 38.7% in 1990-92, to 15.7% in 2010-12 and thus the country has achieved the MDG-1 hunger target. The number of undernourished people in the country has dropped from 4.9 million in 1990-92 to 3.1 million in 2010-12.
