High-level event - The key role of agriculture in climate change

27 September 2016, Rome--- The key role of agriculture in coping with and adapting to the impacts of climate change is widely acknowledged and is now part of the UNFCCC COP21 Paris Agreement and the framework for delivering the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development. This side event showcased the global challenges of putting these global processes into action and illustrated these with concrete country examples while also considering the realities of taking action at appropriate scale and with appropriate investment.
