FAO joined the Parliamentary Conference on South-South Cooperation in Rabat in February, where the focus was on the “Role of National Parliaments and Regional and Continental Parliamentary Unions in Africa, the Arab World, and Latin America in Enhancing Strategic Partnerships and Achieving Joint Integration and Development”. In a significant move towards enhancing the use of radio in rural areas as a means to help achieve sustainable agrifood systems in Africa, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and Farm Radio International signed a Letter of Intent on 15 February 2024.
