New York, 19 November 2020 - A thematic good practices publication: “Good Practices in South-South and Triangular Cooperation in the Context of Food Security”, developed jointly by the United Nations Office for South-South Cooperation (UNOSSC) and the Brazil Africa Institute (IBRAF) was successfully launched at a virtual event on 19 November 2020. This publication presents over 40 good practices to crucial challenges faced by developing countries in the area of food security (SDG 2).

The Board of the Green Climate Fund (GCF) approved three new FAO-designed projects in Argentina, Guatemala and Sudan for a total amount of $158.6 million aimed at mitigating greenhouse gas emissions, strengthening resilience to climate change, and combating deforestation.
