EU Green Week 2025

The FAO Liaison Office with the European Union and Belgium will participate in a joint UN stand during the EU Green Week 2025, taking place from 3 to 5 June in Brussels. FAO will be present throughout the three-day event at the UN stand, alongside UNEP, UNIDO, UNESCO, UNDP, and UN Human Rights, showcasing how the Organization’s work contributes to circular solutions in agrifood systems. 

This year’s EU Green Week theme, ‘Circular Solutions for a Competitive EU’, focuses on the “three Cs” – Clean, Competitive & Circular – and how circularity can drive Europe’s transition to a more resilient, innovative, and sustainable economy. 

FAO Brussels will share insights and materials on circular approaches in agriculture, food, and natural resource management, highlighting FAO's work and projects on bioeconomy for food and agriculture, as well as bio-based innovation strategies.
