It will be a permanent educational experience dedicated to food and agriculture, our connection to it, and FAO’s mandate.

The initiative offers an experiential journey that intertwines botany, art and cuisine, inviting visitors to reflect on our relationship with nature and on the daily choices that shape the future of the planet.

Circo Massimo: a metro station where art and agriculture travel together

On 28 June 2025, the Circo Massimo metro station will be inaugurated as a newly transformed cultural space dedicated to dialogue between art, agriculture, and sustainability. The initiative is promoted by FAO, in collaboration with Roma Capitale, ATAC, and with the support of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI).
