Landscape approach in action: FAO and the International Model Forest Network working together for resilient landscapes

How can partnerships at local, regional and global levels turn the landscape approach into practical action?
This 30-minute Atrium event will showcase how FAO’s Forestry Division and the International Model Forest Network (IMFN) have collaborated to advance sustainable forest management, forest and landscape restoration, inclusive governance and knowledge exchange across regions.
Through a highly visual format, the session will present concrete examples from Model Forests, perspectives from regional networks, and the strategic direction of the FAO–IMFN collaboration. Together, these experiences will show how partnerships can connect local action, regional cooperation and global knowledge to support resilient forests and communities.
