Project phase II: administered online courses starting next week!
The project is entering its second training phase with a series of online administered courses directed to selected trainees from Libya, Mali and Niger. The series of courses, that will start the first week of November, will consist in 7 administered online courses carried out along 2 to 4 full training days.
The thematic areas that will be addressed are:
- Water Productivity;
- Water Use Efficiency;
- Water Harvesting and Agroforestry;
- Renewable Energy for Irrigation;
- Integrated Drought Management;
- Hydro-Economic Modelling;
- Land Resources Planning.
These extended courses aim at providing trainees with more in-depth knowledge through practical exercises on dedicated tools, interactive sessions, showcases from country experiences and videos including field demonstrations and on-field applications.
The first administered online course will be organized next week, from 2nd to 4th November 2020 on Crop Water Productivity. The training will be held in English and will be directed to trainees from Libya. Participants from Mali and Niger will attend the same training course in French the following week.
