「世界の食料安全保障と栄養の現状：2026年報告」発表イベント

「世界の食料安全保障と栄養の現状（SOFI）」は5つの国連機関（国連食糧農業機関（FAO）、国際農業開発基金（IFAD）、国連児童基金（UNICEF）、国連世界食糧計画（WFP）、世界保健機関（WHO））が共同で作成する主要な年次報告書です。本報告書では毎年、世界の飢餓の撲滅、食料安全保障の達成、栄養の改善に向けた進捗状況をモニタリング・分析しています。また、持続可能な開発のための2030アジェンダに掲げられたSDGsの目標２「飢餓をゼロに」の達成に向けた、主要な課題について詳細に分析しています。
2026年版報告書のテーマは「健康的な食事にかかる高コストの実態把握と対策」です。
本報告書は、健康的な食事のコスト高が、2030年までの飢餓の撲滅、食料安全保障の達成、栄養改善に与える影響を検証しています。健康的な食事のコスト推計手法をはじめ、その主要要因や地域格差を分析するとともに、経済的要因・農業バリューチェーンとの関連を考察しています。健康的な食事のコスト削減に向けた政策や投資の方向性を提言しています。
2026年7月14日、米国ニューヨークで開催された「持続可能な開発のためのハイレベル政治フォーラム（HLPF）」に合わせて、本報告書に関する特別イベントが開催されました。さらに、7月21日には、FAO本部にて、報告書全文が発表されました。日本では、8月5日にオンラインにて日英両言語での発表イベントを開催します。

The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World 2026 (SOFI 2026): Japan Launch
The State of Food Security and Nutrition in the World (SOFI) is an annual flagship report jointly prepared by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the World Food Programme (WFP) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Every year, it monitors and analyses the world’s progress towards ending hunger, achieving food security and improving nutrition. It also provides in-depth analysis on key challenges for meeting SDG Targets 2.1 and 2.2 in the context of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
The theme of the 2026 edition is “Understanding and Addressing the High Cost of a Healthy Diet”. The report examines the challenges posed by the high cost of a healthy diet to achieving Zero Hunger, food security and improved nutrition by 2030. The report explains the methodology used to estimate the cost of a healthy diet, analyses its key drivers and regional disparities, and explores its links with economic factors and agricultural value chains. It also presents policy and investment options to help reduce the cost of a healthy diet.
A Special Event dedicated to the report was held on the margins of the United Nations High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in New York, United States of America on 14 July. The report was officially launched at FAO Headquarters on 21 July. In Japan, a virtual launch event will take place on 5 August, with simultaneous interpretation in Japanese and English.
