FAO strategic support to Morocco
The 2023-2027 Country Programming Framework (CPF) is in line with the vision of the FAO Strategic Framework 2022-2031, which supports the 2030 Agenda through the transformation of agrifood systems to make them more efficient, inclusive, resilient and sustainable. This approach aims to improve production, nutrition, the environment and living conditions, leaving no one behind.
Guided by FAO's four strategic axes - production, nutrition, environment and living conditions - this program contributes directly to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), notably SDG 1 (no poverty), 2 (zero hunger) and 10 (reduced inequality), while integrating cross-cutting priorities such as gender equality, youth inclusion and social justice. It also relies on four gas pedals to maximize its impact: technology, innovation, data and institutional and human capacity building.
By aligning national priorities with international strategies and commitments, FAO is focusing its technical support to Morocco on several key areas of intervention.
