Established in 1996, Integrated Rural Development Centre (IRDC) focuses on sustainable development in Nepal's mountain communities. Its work also includes promoting democracy, governance, human rights, peace processes, disaster management, sustainable livelihoods and environmental conservation. Founded by experienced professionals in natural resource management and community development, IRDC has successfully completed numerous projects aimed at empowering local communities and ensuring long-term sustainability with support from the Government of Nepal and other major organizations.
