Eumind (L’Europe rencontre l’Inde) est un réseau d’écoles qui facilite l’apprentissage à l’étranger. Il crée et supervise des projets d’échange en ligne dans le cadre desquels des étudiants indiens et européens travaillent ensemble sur des problèmes concrets, notamment la durabilité, les droits humains, les arts et la culture. Parmi les autres projets réalisés par les étudiants sur différents sujets, un nouveau projet contre le gaspillage alimentaire inspiré du matériel éducatif de la FAO «C’est fini, zéro gaspi!» a été lancé à la suite de la parution de la boîte à outils sur ce thème mise au point par la FAO et la Coalition internationale de lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire.

Une manifestation parallèle sur la gestion de la réduction des pertes et du gaspillage alimentaires au moyen de l’innovation a été organisée par la FAO en collaboration avec le programme sur les systèmes alimentaires durables de One Planet, en marge de la quarante-septième session du Comité de la sécurité alimentaire mondiale (CSA).
