Ce cours offre la possibilité de participer à des conférences des experts sur une grande gamme de sujets concernant la chaîne d’approvisionnement des cultures : à partir des paramètres qualitatifs, de l’analyse de la chaîne de valeur, de l’impact économique des pertes et du gaspillage alimentaires, jusqu’à l’implication de plusieurs acteurs concernés. 

On assiste à un manque d’informations sur les pertes en micronutriments dans les chaines d’approvisionnement alimentaire. Etant donnée l’ampleur des déficits en micronutriments ainsi que le besoin d’une alimentation diversifiée pour prévenir et contrôler les déficits en micronutriments dans le monde entier,  il est très important d’obtenir des données concernant les pertes d’éléments nutritifs pour évaluer les causes et la portée du problème.
