E-books & e-journals
E-books and e-journals
All full-text subscriptions of e-books and e-journals have been incorporated into the FAO Library Discovery search interface. Enter a simple keyword search to explore all FAO's digital subscriptions and print collections at the same time in one place.
To explore individual publisher platforms or for an overview of the library's full-text subscriptions to e-journals and e-books, please see the drop-down menu below.
Many publishers have Open Access journals. You can find them through the Discovery.
Kindly note that the resources below are only accessible to FAO staff through the library's authentication app, EZproxy. Staff will be recognized automatically by the app and led directly to full-text publications if they are logged-in to any FAO device, e.g. Outlook, Teams etc. Otherwise, a login box appears where staff should enter their usual FAO email and password.
Important to highlight is that the option “Access through your institution” is not in use and does not work, nor do any other alternative access options.
Researchers and Representatives from member countries may access subscribed content from the library Reading Room at headquarters in Rome.
