Project's full title Improving local governance in Chad
Introduction The project, funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) under the Land at Scale programme, supports improved local land governance in Chad in line with the VGGT framework. Implemented by a consortium led by FAO , Oxfam Novib and Kadaster International, it addresses insecure tenure, land-related conflicts, and unequal access to land, particularly for women and youth.

Objective / Goal

The project, funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) under the Land at Scale programme, supports improved local land governance in Chad in line with the VGGT framework. Implemented by a consortium led by FAO , Oxfam Novib and Kadaster International, it addresses insecure tenure, land-related conflicts, and unequal access to land, particularly for women and youth. The project pilots inclusive local solutions, strengthens institutions, and develops innovative tools for tenure security and conflict resolution.
