The Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) is a specialized agency of the Organization of American States dedicated to promoting agricultural development and rural well-being in the countries of the Americas. Headquartered in San José, Costa Rica, the institute works with governments, academic institutions, and international organizations to strengthen agricultural policies, improve food security, support sustainable rural development, and foster innovation in the agricultural sector.
